Gunman takes hostage in Discovery Channel building

Alleged list of demands calls for TV station to stop encouraging birth of “any more parasitic humans”.

A GUNMAN HAS TAKEN one person hostage at the Discovery Channel headquarters in Maryland, US.

Police received a call at 1pm (6pm Irish time) reporting a man bearing guns – and possibly explosives – on the premises.

Authorities evacuated the area as a precaution and are trying to make contact with the man. Police succeeded in moving all of the children out of the building’s childcare centre, but some employees remain in the building.

One employee told ABC television she thought she heard a number of gunshots. One Discovery Channel producer said that the gunman was in the lobby and police were approaching the building.

A message sent to Discovery employees and announced over the loudspeaker system said: “We have reason to believe there is an armed gunman at One Discovery Place. All employees should seek protection in a locked office on their respective floors immediately.”

An alleged list of the gunman’s demands calls for Discovery programmes to “stop encouraging the birth of any more parasitic human infants”, and says that they should encourage people to find solutions to save the planet.

The world needs TV shows that DEVELOP solutions to the problems that humans are causing, not stupify the people into destroying the world. Not encouraging them to breed more environmentally harmful humans.

Saving the environment and the remaning species diversity of the planet is now your mindset. Nothing is more important than saving them. The Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Elephants, Froggies, Turtles, Apes, Raccoons, Beetles, Ants, Sharks, Bears, and, of course, the Squirrels.

The humans? The planet does not need humans.

It is simple signed: “These are the demands and sayings of Lee”.
